Spirit: Home at last |

| Hallo! It’s me, Spirit speaking. Yes, yesterday in
the late afternoon Thomas and Paporn came but this time not only to
visit me but to take me home.
|

Spirit: The first week |

| Today on July 19, 2008 we have six days behind us and
we had our ups and downs with the recovery of little Spirit. The
following report may give you an impression how Spirit is doing and what
the current situation is.

| Spirit is making some progress and we
think there is a light in her eyes. But see for yourself

| Spirit is now in the hospital and undergoes intensive
treatment. She is still weak but at least her condition did not
deteriorate but improved slightly. Read her report from the hospital.

The Rescue of "Spirit" |

| Today on July 13, 2008
Miss Paporn from Khlongdogs picked up poor Spirit and then
brought the lovely girl to Bangkok. There Spirit was immediately
admitted to an animal hospital and her wounds were cleaned and treated.
She was waiting for this day a very long time. Spirit will stay in the
hospital until she has recovered and gained enough strength to step into
her new future. May God help her to make that important step in her life.

"Golden" is in her new home in Samui |

| Today Golden took her flight to Samui
and was welcomed by Elfe. We are very grateful that Golden got a new
home. Golden will need more care but life on an island and the loving
care of Elfe will surely support Golden's recovery from a terrible past.

| Golden is a golden retriever who lives in the temple. Her condition is very poor and she needs a lot of care and attention. For the time being we brought Golden back to Bangkok and admitted her in a professional animal clinic. The plan is to fly Golden to Samui were Elfe is already anxious to provide Golden with a proper home. But at the moment Golden's blood test does not make the flight to Samui a recommended action and so we will first bring her back to her feet. We will report and keep you updated on Golden's future. | |

Vaccination of 130 temple dogs |

| We have provided
vaccination for a total of 130 dogs in the temple. The dogs were first
examined by an experienced veterinarian and then taken care of by the
monks and the helpers in the temple. The dogs were given an annual
vaccination covering several illnesses and were treated against ticks
and flees to prevent further infections. See the gallery

| Paporn just drove along the busy street of
Prachachuean in Nonthaburi when she recognized a little something on the
sidewalk. Since the traffic was slow moving she managed to park her car
and approached the little furry thing and what she saw right in front of
her was a little girl dog.

Nestlé donates 1300 kg of dog food to the temple |

| We have managed to obtain another donation from Nestlé Thailand and can today provide the temple dogs with about 1300 kg of dog food. We are very happy and truly appreciate the help of Nestlé Thailand. | |

Vaccination of 75 dogs |

| We have provided vaccination for a total of 75
dogs in the temple. The dogs were first examined by an
experienced veterinarian and then taken care of by the monks and
the helpers in the temple. Khlongdogs also donated 120 kg of dog
food, 15 kg of cat food and 4 liters of disinfectant to the
temple. We will schedule the vaccination of the remaining dogs
and cats as soon as possible.

Castration started |

| We started with the castration of 10 stray dogs and 1 stray cat. The animals are treated here in Bangkok since the Bangkok Administration was willing to help us in this matter. The animals will be back on Monday and will then be taken care of by Khlongdogs and an old man who lives by a khlong in the suburbs. The animals will return to the temple once they are in good health. | |

makes a donation to support our work. Nestlé all together donates 39 packs of ALPO

Dream finds a home |

| After a long and agonizing journey
little Dream was rescued from an intersection in Bangkok. He was taken
care of in small hospitals first and now is a full member of Khlongdogs. Read his story |

Little Hope is gone! |

| Hope died today in the late afternoon due to an acute renal failure
and severe problems with her bladder. She finally succumbed to the
results of the car accident which already broke her spine. Here are her
